  • Click the Windows (Start) icon at the bottom-left corner of the desktop screen.

  • Click the General tab and select the Automatic option from the Startup type drop-down list.

  • Navigate to the network and Sharing center.
  • Right-click on the wireless network and select the Disable option from the list.
  • Right-click on the wireless network and then click the Enable option.

If You Cannot Find Only Your Network

  • Check if the lights on your Tp-Link router are lit, especially the Wi-Fi signal light should be lit.
  • If you still cannot find the connection, your SSID broadcast signal could be disabled.

  • Open the default browser on your Windows computer.
  • You will now have to enter the TP-Link's IP address in the address bar and press the Enter button.
  • Enter the default login credentials to gain access to the TP-Link router page.

  • Username- admin
  • Password- admin
  • Navigate directly to the Wireless settings section.
  • You will see two options; Network name and Security.
  • Next to the Network Name field, click the checkbox to disable the option Hide SSID.
  • Save Changes and close the router configuration window.
  • Make sure the router is set within the proximity range of the computer to have a strong wireless signal.
