Secure your Wi-Fi network using the method specified below. You can also use the general precautions given here to secure your network.

  • Step 1:Do not disclose your Wi-Fi password to everyone. It will lead to unwanted issues.
  • Step 2:Make sure you place your Wi-Fi router at the center point of your house.
  • Step 3:Power off the router and disconnect it from the power source when you are not using it.
  • Step 4:Disable the Network Sharing feature on your computer to avoid any issues.


  • Step 1:You have to find the IP address of your router in the first step. It will be available in the white label stuck at the backside of the router
  • Step 2:If the router’s IP address is not printed on the label, then select the Settings option from the Start menu
  • Step 3:Select the Network & Internet option followed by the Status option. 
  • Step 4:Tap the View Your Network Properties option and go to the Default Gateway field.
  • Step 5:Make a note of the IP address specified there. Enter it in the search bar of the default browser and tap the Enter key.
