Perform the guidelines below to reset your router.

  • Step 1:Turn the router and then find the Reset button at the rear of the router.
  • Step 2:Check whether the router is turned on.
  • Step 3:Make use of a pointed end paperclip to press and hold the Reset button for about 15 seconds.
  • Step 4:Now, the router will start to reset and then turns on.

Another method.

  • Step 1:Make sure that the router is connected to the computer and that it is powered on.
  • Step 2:Press the Windows+ R keys together to open the Run dialog box.
  • Step 3:Enter cmd into the search field and then hit the Enter key.
  • Step 4:Now, type ipconfig into the command prompt and then hit the Enter key.
  • Step 5:Note the IP address of the router in the next step.
  • Step 6:Open a new web browser tab and go to the router’s web page.
  • Step 7:Next, enter the username and the password to Log in.
  • Step 8:Choose the System or the System Tools section.
  • Step 9:Click the Factory Defaults or the Restore Defaults option.
  • Step 10:Now, click the Restore button to start the resetting process.
