- Step 1:First, launch a new web browser and type the IP address of the router in the address bar.
- Step 2:Now, the access point’s web-based setup page will open.
- Step 3:If you are prompted for credentials, key in the default IP address on the address bar and hit Enter. Click the OK button.
- Step 4:Click the Wireless tab on the web-based setup page.
- Step 5:Now, type (SSID) the name of the network.
- Step 6:Make sure that the SSID Broadcast is enabled do that the wireless devices can recognize the wireless network.
- Step 7:Next, click the Wireless Security option and then choose the Security Mode that you want.
- Step 8:In the WPA-Personal section, type the desired password in the Passphrase field.
- Step 9:In the WEP field, type the 10-hex digit key in the Key 1 field.
- Step 10:The router is now connected to the access point.
