The instructions on this website will let you set up and configure DDNS Router Settings. Configuring DDNS on your router denotes that there isn’t any necessity to use the Dynamic Update Client to maintain the hostname updated with the correct IP address.

Instead, make use of the Integrated Dynamic DNS. All router manufacturers do not come with NO-IP as an Integrated Dynamic DNS provider.

Steps to configure DDNS router's settings:

Step 1: First, login into your router using the default gateway address.

Step 2: When the login page opens, enter the router credentials.

Note: The credentials of the router are available on a sticker that is attached to the bottom of the device.

Step 3: Next, try to find out the DDNS (Dynamic DNS) settings. This is available under the Advanced, Dynamic DNS, or DDNS section.

Step 4: Choose No-IP as the service provider on the DDNS page. Type the No-IP username and password. Then type the hostname or domain that has been created in the host or domain field.

The settings might look like:

  • 1. DDNS Provider: No-IP
  • 2. Username: YourEmailAddress
  • 3. Password: YourPassword.
  • 4. Hostname/Domain:

Note: If the router does not show NO-IP, update the firmware. If not, run the Dynamic Update Client on the PC. There is an option to check if another device like a camera on your network supports No-IP for DDNS.

Step 5: Finally, check whether the hostname can receive an update without any issue. To do this,

  • Step 1:Login to the account.
  • Step 2:Click on “Dynamic DNS” available on the left-hand navigation bar to configure DDNS Router Settings.
  • Step 3:Choose “Modify” beside the hostname.
  • Step 4:Set the hostname IP address to and choose “Update Hostname.”
  • Step 5:Once updated, restart the router.
  • Step 6:Login to the “” account again.
  • Step 7:Go back to the “Dynamic DNS” page.

Check if the current public IP address is available. If yes, then the setup is successful and the DDNS is working correctly. And complete your DDNS Router Settings.
